“A nice small private museum in the old town, 45 min to 1 hour, good for a quick stop. Probably more fun with others than solo as there are photo ops, dressing up, music etc. Very interactive. Some of the text felt simplistic and described things that were very normal everywhere in the 1950s-1990s as being evils of communism. They could maybe do with a more expert or broadly expert historian on staff. Communist coffee was a very fun novelty and quite tasty, I can't tell the difference between it and Nescafe but I am not a conniseur at all! Toilet facilities clean, nice small bar area, no gift shop.”

We spent an hour or so looking at / discussing the Communism exhibition and were then treated to the meal which, though a proper representation of Romanian food, was a little disappointing. There was no substantial 'main course', which rather failed to meet the advertised description of an evening dinner. A pleasant evening, but not quite the dinner event I was expecting.”

He was also very quick to respond to messages via what’s app. The car is clean and spacious and Teodor allows you stop at a gas station for the toilet or water if needed. During the drive he provided very good information on both the national village and the salt mine. Over all I would defiantly recommend this tour if you are wanting to see sites outside Bucharest. Both the village and Salt Mine are worth the 2 hr drive :)”
